Cannot redeem esso points in ESSO owned gas station - $50 gas redemption with points

I filled gas($52.18) at 12.10AM on july 16th, and tried to pay with points, but I couldn't. He told me that paying with points is only for prepay. I asked him to sell me gift cards so that I could pay with that. He couldn't even sell me gift cards with points. I couldn't even contact manager at that point of time to fix that issue. So, I request esso people to place a well-trained person during night times too.
